I thoroughly enjoyed my Jolida 1501RC hybrid integrated for about 3 years, and only recently upgraded to an all-tube Jolida 801A integrated. IMO the 1501RC was and is a "best buy" that provides a lot of bang for the buck: a nice combination of solid-state detail and bass plus that wonderful mid-range tube sound. The convenient remote is a real plus. With 100wpc it will drive a wide range of speakers. I had no problems whatever with the unit, but always felt comfortable that Jolida was there for technical support in case I needed it. I do recommend that you replace the stock 12AX7 tubes for better sound, and there are now a number of good choices, both current production and NOS. I listen mainly to jazz and classical in a medium large room with 3-way Scan-Speak floorstanders, and the 1501RC was well suited to that use.
