Help with Purchasing PA System

I'm currently in the market to buy an inexpensive PA System for a college house where it is going to be played a lot and at a loud volume. With that into consideration I found this online and wondered if anyone might be able to help me out with a couple of questions:

I'm in a price range of around $200 and I'm not looking for as much quality as I am loudness. I figured that was a bit older of a model but should still pump pretty loud.

My question is it doesn't say if the RCA ports on it would play an Ipod or hook up to a cd player. I tried to look online but the model is discontinued and I don't want to buy it if an ipod RCA hookup or a cd player won't hook up to it. However I can see in the picture that it has an input, does that mean an ipod would work?

If anyone could help me out it would be greatly appreciated!
