I haven't had a lot of preamps in my system to compare to the LE, but so far I think it's a piece I'll keep for a long time. I like to DIY amps and have used the LE with a lot of different amps, It doesn't manner if it's SS or tube, the preamp seems to always work well with them. It doesn't add much to the sound, except a fullness that I like a lot. I had one of the output caps go out awhile back and I changed them from TRT Infinicaps Sigs to TRT DynamiCaps and am loving the improvement. I'd like to go VAC monoblocks or move up to the Renaissance line...
