Hey Tommy,

I agree - VAC is top notch gear. I have a pair of PA 90 mono's and love them.

The MusicBloc's sound pretty good - I did not think they where neccasarily an big improvement over the PA 90's, but very good none the less.

I almost purchased the Standard Pre, but ended up getting a Cary SP 98p instead. Not sure I made the right choice on that one. I have actually never heard the Standard Pre so it's hard to tell for sure. But I have a lot of respect for Kevin and his gear!

Love to get your opinions on the Standard Pre!
