My 2 cents, go with Mk III's.

There is no difference is parts availability - both are available. I have a pair of totally rebuilt mkIII's with the Joe Curcio upgrade drive and PS boards - well worth it. They really are sweet amps.

I suggest the Mk III's simply becuase of bigger iron - the output & Power trannies on the Mk III's are bigger and the output tranny on the MkIII is pretty sweet. (Basically the mkIII's are just mono versions of the st70)
