Alrighty here is my review for the NAD C-370 i have had this amp since october 2001 i bought it from www.YAWAonline.com as a "D Carton" item. which means damaged box. only had a small ding to be honest. Yawa is authorized so got the regular warranty BTW. Here is my system.. if your wondering.NAD C-370 amp

Audioquest type 4 speaker cableOk.now for the review. Well to start off, this amp is a very good value for what you get. It has a LOT of clean power. It has very good build quality and componets and a real pleasure to listen to. I dont even remeber what my first impressions were in particular (they were good though) but in my system this amp has very clear, airy smooth, detailed powerfull sound. Bass control is superb. Highs are not harsh. they are smooth and airy. Very black soundstage is thats how you explain it. It has alot of control and grace, on my speakers which are 4 ohm, it has no problem whatsoever driving them at high levels. the sound is never strained sounding. I just cant really think of anything else to say about the nad. It sounds wonderfull and i love it. Nuff said!
As for the build. the face and chassis is all metal. the rca plugs in the back are all gold plated and they arent going to pull out if you have tight fitting cables like me. The binding posts are a bit funky, compared to something im used to using. Its kina of hard to get a set of cables on the B output when your using spades. But they are very secure and do the job nicely. I will be honest, i have had the amp in for service once. About a month after i got it i moved my gear around and when i went to turn it back on the left channel was really weak. turned out giving it a nice tap on the side made the channel kick right back in lol. well in jan 02 i finally got tired of it and sent it in, the service center tried to send it back because he couldnt find anything wrong with it the first time, Bill at YAWA told me about it and i convinced him to have it sent back. turns out they found the volume pot was bad. I have had it for almost a year now sice i recieved the unit back and it has worked flawlessly since. Some people complain the remote isint good because you have to point it directly the unit but i havent had this problem.
To sum it all up, this is a great amplifier with very nice sound and alot of power. I am glad i bought it and i wont be getting rid of it anytime soon.
