Thanks!-- I guess we wait for the reactions / adversities of copper-coated aluminum wire. I hope there's a better source for aluminum foil--I'm not inclined to cull foil from a lot of expensive foil caps. What's that stuff that's used for window security?

Anyway, I've bought the wire from Magnepan. To me, uv isn't the primary concern, but rather oxidation as a consequence of exposure to the atmosphere--I prefer to treat the aluminum wire in order to provide a buffer to oxidation (I'm told I exhude a poisonous atmosphere...)
