Hello all-- First of all, re my first posting, if it appeared to be a bit strident, let me apologize to Magnepan and to all of you... Magnepan did call back the next day and I was able to purchase a tweeter rewire kit ($30), good for both speakers, and new covers in my choice of off-white, gray, or black ($20 each). As it was the middle of winter, the rewire kits did not include the water-soluble adhesive, as it gels below 45 degrees. They recommended 3M contact cement, which is what was originally used before the switch to the water-soluble stuff. They'd send me this adhesive when warm weather returns, if I desire. Any input on a protective coating for the newly-applied aluminum wire to prevent oxidation?
