It seems that based on the comments of the group that the real difference between the MG12 and the MMG is the heavier construction of the framing.Those that have seen them without socks seem to confirm this and that the tweeter is identical in size and very little difference in the base area.
I have read many many professional reviews of the 12 and MMG and both crossovers are bare bones and simplistic; the MG12 has a total of 4 components aND NOTHING ELSE, which is ok because I believe in simple crossover design.
It is curious that the 12 is double the price and the real differences are so few and small except for the cost of the framing.
