The short answer is yes, I prefer the Orions. The long answer is this.You can buy the Orion crossover pre-built so don't let that stop you. Some people have tried to emulate the transfer functions using a couple of the digital crossovers. Those don't tend to work well because the amount of EQ required causes loss of resolution/clipping issues.
Btw, my DEQX could do 300db/octave linear phase but that's another long story. :)
