I have modified my 988 this way:
a) SOUNDCARE SUPERSPIKES in replacement of poor standard feet
b) WBT binding post in replacement of poor plastic standard ones
c) add on of quality capacitors in parallel with the one on the signal path inside
d) C37 treatment of all palstic surface outside
e) heavy dunping tratment of inside plastic wall of the bottom cabinet
f) use of quality power cords ( Crystal cable)
g) AC filter for AC
The results are astomishing not a new loudspeaker but "my loudspeaker" at its best, has anyone experiences of this kind to tell?
