No, I haven't changed the crossover yet, but it was my search for crossover info that lead me to this web site. About a year ago, I did make similar changes to the MMG crossover, and the results were very analogeous to what I've read people have experienced with the 1.6QR's. I very much appreciate the excellent info this web site had on retro-fitting the 1.6 with an improved crossover. The Alpha Core inductors and Hovland caps are so expensive I normally use them only in very simple networks; the asymetrical 1st/2nd order crossover of the 1.6 looks like an ideal application fo rtese parts.Thanks for the tip.
