My 28 Dollar Martin Logan Ascent Tweak...

Was completed last night. I trotted myself into JC Penny, and bought 2 black "hotel" hand towels, which are about 15 by 29 inches. I folded in about 2 inches along both sides of the long axis, making the towels about 11 by 29. I then placed them on the top of the woofer cabinet, and forward, on the front/ top edge of the woofer cabinet, directly behind the lower part of the electrostatic panel, where I've had suspicions of some potential acoustic "bounce" issues, and...Can you say Focus? Wayyy better imaging (which was already excellent), and a crisper presentation, without any kind of drawback, except-(yeah, there's always one)- I can no longer see the red LED that shows the Ascents to be active. A more than fair trade-off, it was like upgrading a component. Best 28 bucks I've spent on the system yet!

Thanks to Mart and Duke for the help with the concept.

I'll think I'll market these, for say, 150 Dollars The Pair, all nicely sewn with audiophile approved silk "GoodVibe" (tm) thread. $-)
