They way apx. 1 pound each. So it comes to 45 lbs. of extra, well what's the word I want, solidity? It's more of a padded forgiving solidity.They could be moved but I think you'd do best using tape at first and experiment with placement then when you are happy make it permanent with nails. There is no such thing as permanent sticky tape when gravity and some weight are involved. Especially when they can fall off and damage a target as inviting as a magnepan speaker.
We made them the size they are feeling larger panels would have made the room look too small, plus all the cracks between them give extra acoustic breakup. I think if you were going to cover an area say 15' wide by close to 9' high lets say, you might want to increase size to 1.5' square, but not any larger I think.
