hi there,my 1.6 didn't reproduce brass OK at first, it sounded somewhat
metalic and flat, with no volume; yet after a couple of
months and A LOT of mods and tweaks, saxophone, trumpet, horn
and the like are now sounding terrific, though i'm sure
they will still improve by some more modsyou can see a summary of my mods and tweaks SO FAR by clicking
below; my advice is this: keep the 1.6 and start playing with
them: it is cheap, fun and very interesting (and don't forget
the rest of the gear, the placement and the cables!!!: maggies
will tell you when you are right and when you don't)best, paco
