Yes! I have a DWM for each of my 3.7 speakers. I split the L/R channels and send one side to the 3.7 and the other to a miniDSP that feeds the L/R DWMs. I first experimented with positioning each DWM for the best response along with its 3.7. Then I used REW's Alignment Tool to adjust the delay of each DWM to optimize the response, with the main goal being to eliminate room-related cancelations in the range 80-180Hz.
The positions of the two DWMs were not identical, nor were the delays. I attribute this to the fact that each 3.7 has its tie-down points positioned so the two speakers have resonances at different frequencies. So the DWM integration was slightly different for each.
The result works very well and also allows for independent level control for the DWMs since they're powered by a separate stereo amp. I also have a high pass filter at 45Hz to be sure they don't see anything lower than that.
