Hey, SWL. Welcome to the Asylum!LOL, this late at night I am so tired, that reading heavy stuff strains my old brain cell.
I do get the impression that the rest of the world kept composing some rather far-out modernistic works, regardless of Russian contributions or lack thereof at some points.
Ironically, "the masses" would not have cared either way. You, the regular crowd here, and I may be among the few cats that could conceivably have. Then again, you should have seen my face when a music professor forced me to write a term paper on some of Alberto Ginastera's more "progressive" music. This was back in the early 70's. It was torture!
