I heard the Spatial Audio two years ago at the show and some Emerald Physics this year.The Spatial Audio was the same year as the intro of the Maggie 0.7's which was spectacular at that show.
My opinion---the Maggies were better, but certainly needed high quality subwoofers & probably room correction & integration (which is how they were demo'ed in the better of the two Magnepan rooms).
On it's own, the Spatial Audio OB sounded quite good and had more bass than the .7's on their own, but the higher frequencies weren't quite as clear. But still generally a winner.
BTW, the maggies with the fancy JL Audio subwoofers room was one of the very best that year, regardless of price.
I heard some Emerald Physics speakers this year---something was seriously wrong as string tonality was clearly off. Didn't stay long.
