Hi Paul I bought a pair of .7 six weeks ago really nice speakers. They are placed in a 16.5'x19' room and currently driven with a 70 wpc Talk Electronics integrated amplifier to surprisingly good sound and volume levels there is only two minor issues with the sound quality that hopefully will be fixed when my Acoustat TNT 200 amplifier arrives after Roy Esposito finish doing his magic on it. Don't rule out good old stuff like Threshold, Bedini, and some of Bongiorno's designs (to name a few) there's some really good amp out there in excellent conditions that will make the Maggies sing for a fraction of the cost of new gear of the same sonic caliber. If new is your thing consider Van Alstine amps lots of Maggie owners using 'em.
