RE: WAF intervening on a system anchored by 1.7is.

I took my amp - for the quad '57s - into the shop last week, and upon returning hooked it up - and started playing some music as my Significant other came into our room (Yes the quads are in the MBR) - and I was greeted with "is this a new amp? these sound much better!"

Mind you the main rig has been relegated to the smallest room in the house- and there 'shall be no turntable in the Living Room'...

So, my suggestion is to demo the speaker against the wall - and then back in their previous position- (assuming that her ears are good) and you should not have an issue....
