Well, I am delighted that my system elicits such passionate support! I love the Maggie's. I am doing everything I can to reattach my balls and keep my ears as happy as my neighbors are unhappy (my dipole speakers fire into a shared wall).
So far, I have my wife convinced that a salamander console will do more for our room's decor than getting rid of the speakers.... for now. My hope is that the 1.7i's suddenly appear avant guard once the amps are at least in a swanky new cabinet;).
One thought I had was to send the speakers to Peter gunn for some wedge wood camouflage. I thought it might blend in, but it's not looking good if I am being honest... I still maintain hope; but, I wish that the claims on magnepan's website were accurate. It would be lovely to find someone who finds wall mounted Maggie's as satisfying as what I have now.
