Within the output volume limits a flea watt DHT SET and the ESL 57 or 63 are well known performance benchmarks. There are parallel SET 2A3 amps with more power to get you more realistic playback levels. Also, if you are willing to forgo the 2A3 magic midrange you can use other larger tube DHT SETs at not that much more money. Chinese made 845 211 and the 805 tube based amps have a far more realistic output potential without much loss of midrange detail vs. the 2A3 .. You just need to get the feedback circuits defeated by your technician/modster.
