IF you go ahead and follow the BiAmp path, go Line Level. Delete the speaker level crossover and as a first pass, try to DUPLICATE the stock crossover. That'll give you a reasonable starting point.
Later, it is fine to experiment all you want.

Something like the MiniDSP 2x8 has enough inputs and outputs to sustain such a system.
