There are more reasonably priced amps in the Class D world like the Wyred 4 Sound ST1000 and its' integrated version and the N core amps have already gained quite a reputation and were adopted by quite a few high end amp makers like Bel Canto and Theta (IIRC).
If your other upstream components might need some upgrading consider getting a Rogue Pharaoh hybrid integrated first and try that out for a while. If you run out of power then get an additional amp to use for biamping.

If you are going to ship the entire speaker you can buy the packaging from Magnepan, they still make the cartons to order. Call them up and ask Shelia how much that would cost.
