RE: Martin Logan Aerius problems (lots)

As you can see, The Aerius is a complex load and goes down to 2 ohms, which might be a challenge even for the venerable NAD integrateds. The Quad is easier to drive since it drops to the low values only for a tiny sliver of the spectrum.

Bottom line is that you can't rule out the amp giving out as the cause of the issues you heard, so perhaps another go at trying them out is due.

That said, the model has been around for 20 years so this pair can simply be at the end of its life and would need a new ESL panel from ML.
