RE: Tympani IV rebuild, is mid panel flat ribbon a desirable upgrade ?

Forgive me posting the one reply Guitar slim, Satie and Roger but wow thanks for all replying so quickly.
I need to reglue and was trying to value add at the same time without altering the sound too much. I was finding them a little bright but given the bass are delaminating that may have skewed my perception.
In any case I will leave the crossover as is for the time being and see whether the mids can be tweaked.
It's a win win scenario as the reglue should give me many more years of pleasure.

When Andyr fits those Neo8's then I will be able to pop around and hear them!
