I had a similar experience when I compared my Quasi-Gunned MMG's to my, then stock, MG-2.5's. The clarity and definition in the mids of the modded MMG's simply spanked the MG-2.5's. I knew right away I'd have to tweak the x-o, Razor the panels and add bracing. But dang, Q-Gunned MMG's sure kill it in the mids.
