I'm very late to see this thread but I use both Audyssey XT32 (5.1 surround) and the Lyngdorf (stereo only) room processing system (not together of course!) with my Quad ESL 2905/2805 system (see inmates' systems). They certainly smooth out irregularities and help crossover to the subs. By all means contact me if I can offer further guidance.
