In the April, 2106 issue of The Absolute Sound, Robert E. Greene reviews the new Quad ESL 2812, the latest iteration of the ELS-63 series. On page 94, Greene discusses using a DSP device to fill in a "hole" in the 150-500Hz range. Two devices he mentions are the Lyndorf Audio RoomPerfect and Uli Bruggemann's Acourate correction system on 989s.
I guess as an older audiophile who is unfamiliar with these devices, what they do and how they work, I wondered in anyone on this list has gone this route and may care either to point me to some articles or reviews with which I could further research this tactic or report on their experiences with it/them?.
Many thanks,
George
