Essentially the upgrade is a no brainer as the swap should cost me less than $350 USD once the MMG's sold.
Will look at the 1.7s in a few years, once the itch hits again. I am trying very hard to concentrate on the music rather than the gear.
I fear that the ribbon tweeter on my desktop Adams Audio studio monitors may have spoiled me for quasi ribbons, but we will see.
