Free to a good home, I have a pair of Electrostatic research Vist hybrid speakers, ONE of the transformers has failed, that is ONE of the transformers between the speaker input and the panel, the high voltage transformer appears to be fine. The makers no longer exist and I can't find much information on them. The transformer in the other speaker is fine so it could be used as a reference. There is no one locally I could trust to repair them and I don't feel competent to have a go myself. When working they sounded excellent, they have 10" woofers in the base sections. They will probably make an excellent and rewarding project for someone who is into DIY electrostatics. The frames/cabinets are in Black Piano Gloss. They are very large and heavy so I can only offer collection from my address in SE London. If you're interested I can send photos to an email address.
