Sure some sell less, and 'souped up' ones will grab a bit more, but after following ebay, a-gon, audiomart et al, for years since it's been 'retired' it's amazing how stock MG1.6s still can demand over a grand per pair.
This isn't a knock on 1.7s which I'm sure are even better (haven't heard them but would like to) or other Maggies in the bloodline, just an affirmation for the pair I used to own (kinda like the first gf you ever had lol).
