So your prior setup was closer to an equidistant arc, in which case you want to modify the xo to a more symmetrical alignment at the XO points as the stock XO is not symmetric in the 3.x models other than the .7 serioes. It is designed to time align the 3.x models (all drivers in one plane) when they are facing forwards with tweeters out at a typical listening distance of appx 10 ft- for other distances some toe in or toe out is needed.

So if you want to return to the prior setup then you need to have the XO tweaked to match it.
