These take a LONG TIME to break in. I'm not even sure if I'm there yet.

VERY sensitive to placement. Inches can make a big difference but when you get it right you'll know it.

These are a BIG IMPROVEMENT over the MG12. Smoother, more coherent, faster, more detailed imaging.

Still don't play as well quietly as I'd like, but better at that than other Maggies I've owned. I guess you'll get good but not great microdynamics from a Magnepan. They play louder than I'm used to (I'm a Quads & little speaker kinda guy).

The finish work is better than earlier models... very nice industrial design.
