RE: This topic is very confusing

I own some custom modified by Magnepan IIIa Frankenpans with a ribbon tweeter. I used a very good fuse holder, and fuse, although I am not sure the quality of the fuse made much difference, the holder is more important in my opinion. I did it for peace of mind. Especially when experimenting with active XO's, and XO points, etc. I have blown the fuses in the process saving a rebuild of my tweeters. You might want to use the fuse initially and then once comfortable with the finished setup remove it. I personally think that is the best route, although I have not removed mine yet but they are far from the finished product at this point in time. Good luck!
