The Analysis Audio speakers have been available for a while. Now the Clarisys Audio speakers which seem closely aligned with the Duetta Signature. There are other, similar approaches and of course there's always Magnepan. :)

Yes, the current rebuild/refurbish option from Graz is out of $$$ range for most owners. It was a business model that never had a chance long term and I think he's finally realizing that. However, he's intimated to me recently that he may back off his rigid non-DIY stance and expand his offerings. He was very coy though and wouldn't tell me any details. Stay tuned on that.

All Apogee's have (or will have) foam deterioration issues. You may not hear it with music material most of the time, but it's there. Slowly sweeping tones through the range of the woofer will make the issue audibly obvious.

As I said, the Apogee market is interesting. :)
