I'm Finally in my new apartment, which has afforded me a better listening area. Although it is not perfect, it does allow me to do some experimentation with placement. I will also be upgrading my DCX2496.
So many inmates stress positioning, that one has to take that as a necessary step for optimal sound. After researching "Limage' on this site, I would like to see if it is beneficial to place the Tympani panels parallel to the side walls about 6 feet or so out from the back wall. That distance can vary up to about 8' but would at that point be approaching a door and the front wall. The room is approximately 14' by 14 ' 4"', with the longer length as the back wall. For all intents it is pretty much square. As always thanks in advance for your expert opinions.
