This thread is really getting confused. :) Absolute polarity has nothing to do with scolley's original query. (It's a different subject totally.)
Even though he didn't know it, he was asking about relative polarity differences (between the drivers) of the wiring in the 2.7 as a result of the crossover implementation.
Andy, your points are applicable if a design was trying to achieve linear-phase operation.
Besides, source material doesn't have an "absolute polarity" anyway. :)
scolley is asking a boatload of questions on this forum, but he doesn't appear to be reading/comprehending the answers very well. That's why I suggested for him to step back and take a deep breath.
That's still my suggestion.
