RE: What has been your amplifier (s) journey?

The first bought was a Marantz pm 54. Nice integrated amp. Had it on Quad ESL 57.
2:d was Quad II. Nothing but good. Had it on ESL 57 and Magnepan MG2B.
3:d was DIY Nelson Pass Aleph 2. Had it on home made planar magnetics.
4 and 5 was Nakamichi Stasis PA7 and Adcom 5500. Had it on home made planar magnetics and Quad ESL 63.
Stasis sweet mids and hights but mellow uncontrolled lows.
Adcom good control of the bass but hard on upper frequencies in comparison.
6:th was 2 Yamaha PC2602M. Had those on my home made planar magnetics and on my Apogee Scintilla 1 Ohm version. Hard but still dynamic sound.
7:th was 2 amps of Carver Sunfire 300x2 and 1 Carver Sunfire Cinema 200x5. Had those on Magnepan MG3.6 and have these on my current Apogee Scintilla 1 Ohm version, Apogee Duetta Signature, Apogee Duetta II, Apogee Caliper, Quad ESL 57 and Infinity RS1b.
Extremely fine sound in every aspect!!!!

Cheers!
