I have used a Crest CC5500 w/1800 watts per side approximate into 4 ohms driving my T-1D's with impressive results. I agree with Satie, from whom I originally got the idea a few years back. As long as they are used for the bass, and the listening levels are loud enough to overcome the loud fan noise, which disappears at a certain volume, then they are impressive. All that power for about a $1000 is not bad, and if Satie's golden ears can hear no ill from them, I would say run with it. Any suggestions he has given me in the past have always been excellent and informed. Hope he does not mind me saying that. There are others here that are also quite knowledgable. There are dealers that will accept returns as well usually within 30 days so there is that option also. Good Luck!
