It would be interesting if these are indeed the original segmented driver Tympani to have them rebuilt with modern diaphragm materials and foil conductors. I would ask magnepan about that kind of restoration before considering an offer. Segmented drivers have some benefits as pointed out by Doug Schroeder in his reviews of the Kingsound ESL models.
