I have measured my speakers now. I hooked up the scope to the terminals and fed the speakers with a 100 Hz sine 100ms on 900 ms off signal. The right speaker shuts down with a "crack" at about 25Vtop, but the left just distorts the signal on the scope at some 40Vtop, without shutting down. I suspect a faulty panel.Both speakers sound just fine, driven under the 25V limit. I am in contact with Jlindberg, forum inmate, who I hope can take care of my faulty speaker.
