I was under the impression that this system was a purely electrical system, i.e. it measured the voltage over time and decided when the trigger. If it is measuring sparking I can better understand why it differ between the two speakers playing the roughly same signal.
At any rate, if really I wanted to check the trigger level, would 100/900ms 100Hz be a good signal, do you think?
