Tks, U! I'll try to report as I go along. In fact, I may be back after midnight. I received the first woofer today and rushed home to put "something together", impatient kid that I am, LOL! (Actually, I am extremely patient but I won't have time for several days.)It seems like I got lucky and the "improbable thing" sounds much better than expected for this early in the experimental stage. I am going to try and measure it "quick and dirty" if I can fix the microphone amplifier (EMU-0404 USB). It blew its walwart power supply.
