Of course the Vandersteen comes with a crap capacitor to put in your amp input to give a first-order roll-off that matches the speaker perfectly with the sub. When replaced with a better quality cap (all your music goes through it), the match is really quite extraordinary.

The REL is an under-appreciated bargain in this Fathom & 15" woofer world.
