I recently purchased a pair of MG 1.6 QR speakers with socks that had been clawed by cats. When the old socks were removed, I also found some small cat nail punctures in the mylar, a couple of which puncture the tweeter QR foil in such a way that the foil is almost completely severed (see photo). The tweeters still work, but as long as I have the socks off I'd like to repair/fortify the iffy spots. I've searched this site (and the web) but can't find any info on how to repair breaks in QR foil. Any suggestions?
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
