Davey, it not so much your lack of diplomacy, though you have lately seemed to relish more and more on this being accepted.
There was absolutely no need for you to undertake this kind of discussion against Al's tweak. There is no damage in trying the chokes. The darn things are so inexpensive that trying them is almost a no-brainer in many cases. Some folks find them useful and some don't. Why do you fear that they try them?
Your postings on the matter are gratuitously poisoned, perhaps indicative of some kind of issue in your mind. Still, on my book, it is unacceptable -- even immoral -- for someone to do so to Al or to anyone else who can't be present. Your numerous contributions cannot be an excuse for this, lest you eventually wind up in the vanity spheres of another solid contributor who we can no longer count on.
