My subwoofer got unplugged the other day and I listened to the MGIIIAs and there was just no bass, at least none that I could perceive. Now I know that lots has been said about planar bass - but I wonder if I have a problem.
I ran a few 40-100hz test tones and they were audible, so I assume that everything is working as it should - but how would I verify that?
The speakers are in a 12x13 room and I pull them 3 ft out when I listen. They are powered well and with the sub on I think they sound really good.
I had a though when I rebuilt them - that maybe there is a phase issue. How would one going about confirming that?
Thanks
Derek.-
