Thanks, but it is still not quite clear to me. I have relabeled my earlier picture.

How I understand it that you have connected them:

A -> 1 AND A -> 2
C -> 3 AND C -> 4
B -> 5 AND B -> 6
D -> 7 AND D -> 8

Is this correct? If not, can you tell me where each cable goes on your setup (I guess I'm a bit slow... )
