Connecting 2 DWM to stereo amplifier

I started off with 1.7 and last year moved to 3.7. Because it's not really practical to upgrade to 3.7i when you life in Europe I bought an DWM and I liked it. Recently I bought a second DWM but I am a little unsure how to proceed. Hopefully somebody here can tell me what I should do.

I started off with one DWM, then it's easy:
A -> 1
B -> 2
C -> 3
D -> 4

When you add a second DWM then the instructions in the Magnepan manual are not
completely clear to me:

"If 2 Bass Panels are used for a 2-channel setup, one set of connections is used for each Bass Panel."

What does this mean?

Option 1:
A -> 1
B -> 2
C -> 7
D -> 8

Option 2:
A -> 1,5
B -> 2,6
C -> 3,7
D -> 4,8

Option 3:
A -> 1
B -> 2
3 -> 4
C -> 7
D -> 8
5 -> 6

or

...

Can any one tell me how it should be done?
